Problem with license while logging in to APPSeCONNECT Agent

Question

I am facing an issue while logging in to APPSeCONNECT Agent. The scenario is, I have been using the same machine to login using another account. But I have just changed the user id and password to a different credential, but when I try logging in, it is telling me “Your machine is already associated with another account. ”

Please find the screenshot attached to this.

Agent licensing

Is there any workaround regarding it, or do I need to format the machine or uninstall the agent to fix the issue.

Edit: I can still login using the old credentials as the machine is still tagged to it I think.

  1. Hi,

The problem you are facing is because the licensing system of APPSeCONNECT tags a machine to a particular account and there is no way you can remove this tagging without going to the cloud environment.

    To Fix this issue,

    1. Login to the account.
    2. Open Project – In your case it is “RajibInsync”.
    3. Select Manage – Environment.
    4. Find the machine listed over environment section.
    5. Select the appropriate environment and click on Delete.

The delete environment will untag the environment from server and make it available for other account to use the machine.

Once you delete it, go to your local agent, and login again. This time, the machine will again be automatically tagged to the new account. Remember, if you have already installed many agents to the account and it is beyond our expected limit, APPSeCONNECT can still say you that it could not tag the machine. In this case, you might need to go to the new account and delete some of the unnecessary agents.

If that account is expired or you do not have access to it anymore, please contact our support at support@appseconnect.com. Our Support team will help you removing your machine from our server.

I hope this will help you.
